Job Description

The Executive – Sustainability supports the VP of Technical Services, Project Delivery, and Sustainability in implementing Majid Al Futtaim Group’s Dare Today, Change Tomorrow ESG strategy. The role involves working with internal teams to deliver sustainability initiatives, track and analyze ESG data, prepare reports, and support reporting frameworks. Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, engaging stakeholders, conducting research and benchmarking, and providing operational support to advance the company’s sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support to the VP in implementing Majid Al Futtaim Group’s sustainability strategy, including social impact initiatives and partnerships with government and community organizations.
  • Assist in health, wellness, and career development programs to support employee empowerment.
  • Support monitoring and reporting of carbon emissions, energy, and utilities, and contribute to projects aimed at green building certifications such as LEED and WELL.
  • Prepare internal and external sustainability and ESG reports, including the annual sustainability report and award submissions.
  • Collect, analyze, and present sustainability data, benchmark best practices, and assist in implementing ESG reporting frameworks and standards.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, track progress of sustainability initiatives, and ensure compliance with governance and sustainability targets across the Group.

Skill & Experience

  • Strong skills in stakeholder coordination, clear communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving to support sustainability initiatives effectively.
  • Enthusiastic about sustainability, with basic knowledge of green building practices and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • 0–1 years of experience in sustainability roles within corporate or consultancy settings, with foundational knowledge of the real estate sector and ESG reporting frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a sustainability certification preferred, such as LEED or WELL Accredited Professional.
