Job Description
The role is responsible for achieving company objectives by ensuring retail staff deliver excellent customer service and have the skills and support needed to maximize sales. It includes implementing store operating procedures in line with company and brand standards, promoting the company’s loyalty program to encourage repeat business, and providing feedback to the Area Manager and Operations Manager regarding employee performance and product-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and coach staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Ensure staff are well-groomed, knowledgeable about products, and able to anticipate and meet customer needs.
- Manage stock levels, stockrooms, and store administration, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.
- Oversee staff schedules, leave, and grievances.
- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to drive repeat sales.
- Supervise store operations and provide feedback to the Area Manager on employee performance and product matters.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
- Maintain security awareness and vigilance at all times.
- Stay updated on the group’s brands to support suggestive selling and customer engagement.
- Take responsibility for end-to-end store operations, including physically demanding tasks when required.
Skill & Experience
- Proven experience in retail operations, store management, or sales supervision.
- Strong knowledge of fashion products, trends, and visual merchandising standards.
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets.
- Experience managing stock, inventory control, and minimizing stock loss.
- Knowledge of store administration, scheduling, and handling staff grievances.
- Familiarity with loyalty programs and techniques to drive repeat sales.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs.
- Awareness of store security, compliance, and operational policies.
- Physically fit to manage end-to-end store operations, including extended hours and lifting when required.
