Job Description

The Sr. Specialist – Adtech Operations manages and optimizes digital advertising technology platforms to maximize campaign performance and efficiency. This role oversees ad trafficking, campaign setup, monitoring, and reporting, while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The specialist works closely with marketing, analytics, and product teams to troubleshoot technical issues, streamline workflows, and improve campaign ROI across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for advertiser campaigns, troubleshooting performance issues and resolving complex problems in collaboration with product and engineering teams
  • Monitor and analyze advertising marketplace trends using tools such as BigQuery and Tableau to identify anomalies or system issues proactively
  • Investigate and debug campaign performance problems across multiple systems and platforms to uncover root causes
  • Partner with central ads product and engineering teams to share marketplace insights and inform product improvements
  • Maintain operational excellence by creating and updating monitoring processes, documentation, and troubleshooting guides
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and actionable insights to optimize advertiser experience, campaign outcomes, and overall marketplace health

Skill & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in ad operations, product analytics, or a technical role supporting advertising platforms, with proven ability to solve complex, multi-variable problems
  • Experience with restaurant delivery or performance marketing platforms is a plus
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying large datasets in BigQuery or similar platforms, including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization
  • Proficient in Tableau or similar BI tools, with experience building dashboards, automated alerts, and performing statistical analysis
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down ambiguous problems, form testable hypotheses, and execute structured investigations
  • Familiarity with advertising metrics, auction dynamics, and campaign performance analysis, with ability to distinguish correlation from causation
  • Solid technical understanding of software systems, APIs, databases, and observability concepts to debug issues across complex AdTech stacks
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to communicate insights effectively to cross-functional teams
