Job Description

Oversee centralized Payroll, Staff Travel, and Employee Services, ensuring all processes comply with labor and employment laws. Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and enhance the overall employee experience while providing reliable and timely services to staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain a centralized HR Shared Services model to streamline processes, optimize resources, and enhance employee experience.
  • Build and lead a high-performing HR Shared Services team with a simple and efficient structure.
  • Standardize, automate, and consolidate processes to support HR strategy goals and improve service delivery.
  • Develop strategy, roadmap, and tactical plans to create a seamless and digital employee experience.
  • Monitor team performance against defined standards and drive operational excellence.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve employee experience through process and protocol enhancements.
  • Leverage technology to automate processes, optimize resources, and manage costs.
  • Oversee Payroll operations across the Group, ensuring compliance with local laws and standards, and guide the Payroll team on systems and processes.
  • Direct Employee Services and Staff Travel functions, ensuring consistent processes and efficient resource use.
  • Manage documentation processes (visas, permits, medicals) efficiently through in-house or outsourced arrangements.
  • Improve insurance benefits processes, automating where possible for better service and faster response times.
  • Maintain data integrity across all systems and functions, and provide analytical reports with actionable insights for management.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, HR, Human Sciences, Technology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Over 10 years of HR experience, ideally in the airline industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role leading HR Shared Services.
  • Experience in mid-sized, regional, or multinational organizations.
  • Skilled in process improvement, change management, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication abilities.
  • Proficient with digital tools, MS Office (especially Excel), and data reporting.
  • Knowledge of local labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Experienced in project management and mitigating operational risks.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workloads.
