Job Description

Responsible for developing, updating, and overseeing the Roads and Transport Authority’s asset management system across all agencies and sectors. This includes defining policies, strategies, and processes in line with international best practices and standards, ensuring optimal asset performance, lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance while supporting strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and oversee the ISO 55001 external annual audit process, ensuring compliance with international asset management standards and providing regular progress reports
  • Collaborate with audit teams and stakeholders to address non-conformities or areas for improvement, developing and evaluating action plans to strengthen asset management practices
  • Identify and monitor risks related to assets, ensuring effective risk management and emergency response plans are in place
  • Review and analyze RTA-level asset management KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and submit actionable recommendations
  • Coordinate and monitor value management activities with relevant departments, ensuring compliance with Value Management Standard BS EN 12973, and provide progress reports
  • Perform other responsibilities and tasks associated with the position as required

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in asset management, infrastructure management, or engineering operations
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 55001 standards, asset lifecycle management, and risk management practices
  • Experience in monitoring KPIs, performing audits, and implementing value management initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and develop actionable improvement plans
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
