Job Description
A Senior Product Analyst is needed to lead and support a small team while turning data into clear, practical product decisions. The role works closely with multiple product squads, helps set priorities, and ensures analysis leads to real business results. The ideal candidate is comfortable mentoring analysts, communicating findings clearly, and providing insights that can be directly applied to product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and guide a team of product analysts, supporting skill development and quality of analysis
- Analyze large and complex datasets to support product and business decisions across digital and e-commerce channels
- Own key e-commerce performance metrics for assigned squads and share clear recommendations with stakeholders
- Measure the impact of new product features and report business outcomes
- Support product owners by using data to help prioritize backlog items
- Perform A/B testing and hypothesis validation for product improvements
- Identify and resolve data issues by working closely with business and technical teams
- Combine data from multiple sources to create meaningful reports for leadership and product teams
- Ensure smooth data availability and reporting for squads by removing data blockers early
Skill & Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in product analytics, business analysis, or similar data-focused product roles within e-commerce, retail, or digital platforms
- Strong background in leading and mentoring analyst teams
- Hands-on expertise in SQL, BigQuery, Power BI, and Excel, with working knowledge of Python or R
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as SAS or Azure Databricks is an advantage
- Deep understanding of customer behavior including funnels, conversions, traffic patterns, drop-offs, NPS, and customer feedback
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain insights to both technical teams and senior leaders
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
- Industry experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Commercial domains is preferred
- Strong people management and mentoring skills to support analyst growth and performance
- Excellent stakeholder communication, collaboration, and presentation abilities
- High attention to detail with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage work in a fast-changing environment
