Job Description
The Senior Manager – Investment Planning is responsible for leading the development and execution of investment plans, analyzing portfolio performance, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to assess investment opportunities, manage risks, monitor financial performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives, enabling effective capital allocation and long-term value creation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of investment proposals, including Investment Briefs, Business Cases, Change Requests, and Benefit Reviews, for all programmes and projects across Dubai Airports.
- Work closely with business owners and subject matter experts to ensure investment decisions are supported by accurate and complete documentation.
- Guide business units through the corporate investment process and support Project Sponsors and SMEs in preparing governance documents for corporate boards.
- Manage portfolio prioritization to ensure investments remain aligned with Dubai Airports’ strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain a multi-year investment plan that reflects long-term strategic goals and meets evolving business needs.
- Produce regular status reports on business case development and portfolio performance for internal stakeholders.
- Prepare updates and materials for corporate board meetings, including current portfolio performance and future investment plans.
- Collaborate with the Department Head to translate Dubai Airports’ strategy into a multi-year Investment Roadmap.
Skill & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of overall professional experience, with at least 5–7 years in a relevant investment planning or portfolio management role.
- Strong expertise in business case development, cost-benefit analysis, portfolio management and prioritization, data management, and project management.
- Experience engaging with senior-level internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and related systems.
