Job Description

The Senior Manager-Accounts and Finance oversees financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance. The role manages accounting teams, ensures accurate financial records, monitors cash flow, and implements effective internal controls. It provides strategic insights to support business decisions, drives process improvements, and ensures adherence to regulatory and corporate financial policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant standards.
  • Oversee end-to-end accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost management, monitoring variances and identifying efficiency opportunities.
  • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and performance evaluation to support strategic business decisions and investment planning.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and financial policies; coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and banking relationships to ensure financial stability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team, aligning financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Drive process improvements, ERP enhancements, and digital tools to optimize financial operations and reporting.
  • Provide senior leadership with insights and recommendations on cost efficiencies, revenue growth, and investment strategies.

Skill & Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing finance teams, overseeing accounting operations, and supporting strategic business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Experience in driving process improvements and implementing financial systems is preferred.
