Job Description

Responsible for managing budgeting, financial reporting, and settlement activities for Automated Collection Systems. Ensures accuracy of financial transactions, prepares trial balances, reconciles accounts, and coordinates with internal and external auditors. The role also monitors compliance with financial policies, supports audits, and provides timely and accurate financial information to management for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare trial balances and financial statements for automated collection operations
  • Develop budget assumptions for income and expenditure and update budget formats, templates, and justifications
  • Record financial transactions in accordance with approved accounting principles
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation
  • Monitor Auto Top-Up transactions and manage related payment instructions
  • Generate management reports and ensure adherence to reporting timelines
  • Ensure compliance with RTA Information Security policies and data-sharing guidelines
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support audit readiness and internal use

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized university
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or operational finance
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, trial balances, reconciliations, and financial reporting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting or ERP systems
  • Knowledge of auditing procedures, financial forecasting, and compliance standards
  • Experience with automated collection systems or payment platforms is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and organizational skills
