Job Description

This role oversees the full contract lifecycle, from initiation to vendor contract finalization, working with a broad range of internal customers across all departments of e& Group. It is a highly complex role that requires advanced skills and significant seniority. The position provides strategic oversight of procurement operations, ensuring alignment between stakeholder requirements and vendor capabilities, while maintaining financial control and managing risks throughout the contracting process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic category planning process for e& Group and e& Brand & Communications procurement, developing a medium- to long-term plan to maximize value for both global and local procurement categories. Collaborate with budget holders to achieve competitive advantage, sustainable sourcing, high-quality products and services, and cost reductions that directly impact EBIT.
  • Oversee the full procurement cycle from requisition to vendor contract finalization and issuance of purchase orders, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and vendor capabilities.
  • Provide strategic oversight of Brand & Communications procurement operations, maintaining financial discipline, managing risks, and ensuring seamless integration across stakeholders.
  • Leverage synergies across e& Group and OpCos, driving cost reduction through standardization, rationalization, and total cost of ownership optimization to support financial and growth objectives.
  • Manage all vendor contracts, from initiation through execution and renewal, safeguarding organizational interests, ensuring compliance with policies, and aligning commercial terms with cost reduction and risk mitigation goals.
  • Oversee tender contract preparation, negotiation, and evaluation, ensuring robust contractual terms, procurement standards compliance, and alignment with legal, regulatory, and category management requirements.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, Finance, Category Managers, and budget owners to ensure contract terms meet business needs and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement manager team, promoting high performance, effective stakeholder management, and talent development in line with e& values.
  • Drive process improvements and adoption of best practices in contract management, sourcing, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of contract status, risks, and performance metrics, maintaining compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Stay informed on organizational goals, customer expectations, industry best practices, and benchmarks to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or strategic sourcing, ideally within large organizations or complex operational environments.
  • Proven experience managing the full procurement lifecycle, from requisition to contract execution and vendor management.
  • Strong track record in driving cost optimization, standardization, and efficiency improvements across procurement processes.
  • Experience leading and mentoring procurement or contract management teams, with a focus on performance development and stakeholder management.
