Job Description

Responsible for managing pharmacy operations, dispensing medications accurately, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Supports patient care by providing medication guidance and maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
• Manage daily pharmacy operations, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and order processing.
• Provide medication counseling and guidance to patients.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, quality standards, and internal policies.
• Supervise pharmacy support staff and coordinate workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and inventory.
• Participate in pharmacy audits, quality assurance, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.

Skill & Experience

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in dispensing and documentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in pharmacy information systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Professionalism, integrity, and commitment to patient safety.
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Valid UAE pharmacist license (DHA/HAAD/MOH approval).
• Familiarity with inventory management and procurement processes is preferred.
