Job Description

Provides comprehensive eye care services, including vision testing, diagnosis of visual disorders, and optical dispensing support. Ensures high-quality patient care while supporting smooth operational workflows

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Diagnose and manage refractive errors and common eye conditions.
• Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and visual aids.
• Perform pre- and post-operative assessments for ophthalmic procedures.
• Educate patients on eye health, lens care, and preventive measures.
• Support optical dispensing operations, including frame and lens selection.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and clinical protocols.
• Coordinate with ophthalmologists and clinical teams for patient referrals and care continuity.

Skill & Experience

• Strong clinical skills in optometry and vision assessment.
• Proficiency in using optometric diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
• Attention to detail in clinical evaluations and documentation.
• Ability to manage patient flow and operational responsibilities efficiently.
• Professionalism, empathy, and customer service orientation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry.
• Valid UAE optometrist license (DHA/HAAD/MOH approval).
• Experience in hospital, clinic, or optical retail settings is advantageous.
