Job Description

The Junior Analyst will assist the department in implementing procedures related to AML, FATCA, and CRS regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring timely completion of KYC processes, maintaining accurate reporting, and supporting the FATCA and CRS compliance framework in line with UAE regulatory requirements for the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and validate FATCA and CRS self-certification forms and KYC documentation.
  • Perform due diligence on clients to determine FATCA and CRS status and ensure complete tax residency information.
  • Assist the compliance department in developing and implementing AML, FATCA, and CRS policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to obtain required KYC and tax information for onboarding and ongoing compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records and track AML, FATCA, and CRS documentation in line with record retention policies.
  • Prepare and submit AML, FATCA, and CRS regulatory reports to relevant authorities.
  • Participate in training programs on AML, FATCA, and CRS compliance.
  • Stay informed of all internal and external AML, FATCA, and CRS requirements.
  • Identify and escalate gaps or issues in client information, documentation, or compliance processes.
  • Assist in responding to regulatory queries and audits related to AML, FATCA, and CRS.
  • Develop and deliver training presentations on AML, FATCA, and CRS compliance.
  • Ensure all reporting deadlines are met according to agreed turnaround times.

Skill & Experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of industry best practices, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • 1–2 years of AML, FATCA, and CRS compliance experience in insurance, banking, or financial services in the UAE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • CAMS, ICA, or equivalent compliance certifications are preferred.
