Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to join our HR Strategy, Transformation & Digital team in Doha. You will work with large datasets, uncover patterns, and turn data into clear insights to support People Analytics. This role requires curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver actionable, data-driven stories in a fast-paced HR environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain HR dashboards and perform detailed analytics to support decision-making.
- Work with large HR datasets to identify trends in hiring, attrition, and employee movement.
- Collaborate across teams to consolidate HR data from multiple systems into a centralized Data Warehouse.
- Provide insights and recommendations that guide workforce strategies and influence leadership decisions.
- Build real-time reporting tools and visualizations to track key HR metrics and performance.
- Explore innovative ways to improve reporting, introduce new KPIs, and automate processes.
- Lead projects independently, delivering actionable insights that have a direct impact on the organization.
- Support the HR team and executives with data-driven analysis to optimize people and business outcomes.
Skill & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer/Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience handling large-scale, complex datasets with a focus on analytics, reporting, and data visualization.
- Proficient in SQL for querying, transforming, joining, analyzing, and automating data.
- Skilled in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and productivity tools like Excel with Power Queries.
- Strong statistical, numerical, and data modeling skills with attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Experience developing training materials and conducting end-user sessions to simplify complex data insights.
- Team player with the ability to provide fact-based recommendations in a clear and compelling narrative.
- Experience with high-volume, fast-paced data environments, ideally in large organizations (10,000+ employees) or airlines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and AI/ML features; coding/automation skills (e.g., Python) are a plus.
- Practical understanding of data governance principles and experience managing BI tools or data warehouse projects.
- Additional certifications in Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, AI, Mathematics, or Statistics are advantageous.
