Job Description

The Lead Ancillary Sales Officer supports the Ancillary Services team in planning and implementing product development projects across all Qatar Airways sales channels. The role also manages daily operations of ancillary products, enhancing sales channel capabilities to drive additional revenue and help achieve commercial ancillary targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze ancillary product performance and identify opportunities for improvement using airline commercial principles.
  • Understand and apply Qatar Airways’ ancillary services processes and procedures.
  • Manage third-party relationships and evaluate new ancillary products or initiatives.
  • Recommend technologies aligned with Qatar Airways’ Ancillary Strategy, providing analysis and strategic insights.
  • Support implementation of ancillary projects, monitor SLAs, and ensure alignment with revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with project managers, commercial, and digital marketing teams to execute key ancillary campaigns.
  • Provide input to maximize revenue and ensure alignment with partners.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in ancillary products, revenue analysis, or business development.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Skilled in project management with proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects effectively.
  • Experience negotiating and collaborating in a multi-national, multi-cultural environment.
  • Prior experience managing fare products and incentive tools with trade partners.
