Head of Security

Job Description

Head of Security (UAE National) responsible for leading and enhancing security across the region. Requires experience with UAE Police, Armed Forces, CID, or other security agencies, and strong ties to government authorities, immigration, and regulators. Ensure the protection of noon’s people, assets, and operations while implementing robust security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a group-wide security strategy aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and improve emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity plans.
• Act as the main point of contact with UAE Police, CID, immigration authorities, customs, and other government entities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE security regulations, reporting standards, and licensing requirements.
• Manage and resolve security incidents quickly using established government relationships.
• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, and implement preventive measures.
• Work with Legal, HR, and Operations to ensure structured incident handling and reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Legal, Logistics, and Customer Support to maintain secure and compliant operations.
• Advise senior leadership on emerging security threats and mitigation strategies.
• Support internal teams with immigration- or government-related processes as needed.

Skill & Experience

• UAE National (Emirati) with prior experience in UAE Police, Army, CID, or other security forces.
• Strong professional network with government and security agencies, immigration authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Proven leadership in managing security operations for large organizations.
• Experienced in investigations, crisis management, and incident response.
• Background in government or security agencies is preferred.
• Certifications in security management, such as ASIS, CPP, or PSP, are a plus.
• Knowledge of regional compliance laws and security best practices.
