Job Description
The Guest Service Officer at Conrad Dubai is a key member of the Front Office team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests from check-in to check-out. This role shapes the first impressions of guests and ensures a seamless, memorable experience while also performing required audits and administrative tasks to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve guest queries efficiently and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes in a timely manner
- Provide a smooth and efficient reception experience for guests, including check-in, check-out, and completion of audit procedures as required
- Keep the Guest Service Manager informed of any relevant guest feedback or interdepartmental matters
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service at all times
- Attend training sessions as required and support the Night Team’s training and development efforts
- Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and other relevant products to perform daily duties effectively
- Maximize room occupancy and revenue by using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
- Follow proper procedures for accepting foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash in accordance with hotel credit policies
- Comply with hotel security protocols, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
- Operate front-of-house equipment and property management systems according to company policies and procedures
- Ensure all actions and interactions align with the company’s brand standards
- Provide support to other departments as necessary to maintain smooth hotel operations
Skill & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-focused industry, preferably within hospitality or service sectors
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Excellent grooming and personal presentation standards
- Calm, organized, and efficient, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task effectively while maintaining a positive attitude when interacting with guests
- Professional approach with a strong emphasis on hospitality and guest service
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Previous experience handling cash and financial transactions
- Experience in Front Office, Concierge, or hospitality roles within hotel, leisure, or entertainment sectors
- Skilled in conflict resolution and handling guest complaints professionally
