Job Description
The role of a Food and Beverage Supervisor involves overseeing the daily operations of Food and Beverage outlets to ensure a high-quality experience for guests and members. The Supervisor is responsible for guiding and delegating tasks to the team, monitoring service standards, and ensuring that departmental goals and targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of Food and Beverage outlets to ensure smooth service and high-quality guest experiences
- Communicate effectively and delegate tasks to team members to ensure responsibilities are clear and completed efficiently
- Ensure all operations comply with brand standards, policies, and procedures
- Address and resolve guest queries promptly and professionally
- Represent the needs and concerns of the team to management
- Support Food and Beverage management in achieving financial targets for the outlet
- Assist in the training, coaching, and development of team members to maintain service excellence
- Participate in annual and mid-year performance appraisals for team members under supervision
- Ensure compliance with hotel security protocols, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
- Promote environmentally responsible practices within the department
- Collaborate with other departments as needed and maintain positive working relationships across the hotel
Skill & Experience
- Previous experience in Food and Beverage operations within a hotel or similar environment
- Strong commitment to delivering high levels of customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Positive attitude, with a professional and approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond effectively to a variety of work situations
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Prior experience in the hotel industry, particularly in Food and Beverage outlets
- Experience in supervising, delegating tasks, and managing a team
- Willingness to support the development of team members and pursue personal professional growth
