F&B Service Supervisor

Job Description

Oversees daily food and beverage operations, ensuring high service standards and guest satisfaction. Manages, trains, and motivates service staff, coordinates with kitchen and bar teams, monitors inventory and stock levels, handles guest feedback and complaints, and ensures compliance with hygiene, safety, and company policies. Supports smooth, efficient, and profitable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff teamwork and high service standards to meet guest needs.
  • Inspect staff grooming and attire; address any deficiencies.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning, and securing areas.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, cleanliness, and FIFO compliance.
  • Conduct inventory checks and request necessary supplies.
  • Monitor dining areas for seating, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
  • Submit work orders for maintenance repairs as needed.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching staff.
  • Act as role model and first point of contact for employee concerns and policies.
  • Follow all company safety, security, and operational procedures; report hazards or incidents.
  • Maintain clean, professional appearance and protect company assets.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide exceptional service.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team and guests.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, efficiency, safety, and cost-saving standards.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and machines for defects.
  • Perform physical tasks: stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, reach, bend, twist, and move in confined or elevated spaces.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Skill & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
  • No specific licenses or certifications required
