Job Description
The Digital Merchandiser manages and organizes products on the website to create a smooth and engaging online shopping experience. Using customer insights, they suggest improvements, collaborate with the E-Commerce Trading Manager and brand teams, and implement merchandising strategies to increase product visibility and boost sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute category trading strategies in collaboration with the E-Commerce Trading Manager and brand teams.
- Organize and optimize product ranges, maintain existing categories, create new ones, and ensure visually appealing page layouts.
- Manage daily category operations, including Category Landing Pages and other key online spaces.
- Review merchandise reports to ensure accurate product categorization.
- Suggest website improvements and use tools to enhance the online shopping experience.
- Develop and implement localized e-commerce strategies considering different countries, markets, currencies, customer behaviors, and competition.
- Manage onsite promotions according to the commercial calendar.
- Optimize site search and navigation to improve user experience and understand the commercial impact of changes.
- Provide merchandising recommendations based on customer insights, brand strategy, and e-commerce goals to drive revenue, conversions, and average order value.
- Monitor competitor activities to stay updated on trends, pricing, and promotions, and explore new merchandising ideas.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to share insights, align strategies, and ensure accurate product listings.
- Execute sales and promotional plans while supporting category and brand merchandising strategies.
Skill & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Digital Merchandising or a similar role.
- Retail experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics is an advantage.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
