Job Description
SkyCargo, a global leader in air cargo, connects over 140 destinations across 6 continents, serving major trade regions efficiently through its modern fleet and Dubai hub. The Business Solutions Controller oversees cross-functional projects from the user perspective, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and alignment with company project management standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse end-user requirements across departments to identify system and process improvements that enhance service, efficiency, and productivity.
- Develop and apply quality control standards to review internal systems, processes, vendors, and partners, leading cross-functional teams to implement changes.
- Maintain and update system documentation, including SOPs, reflecting process or system changes.
- Create test cases and support functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes, ensuring timely completion.
- Provide first-level support to users, offering functional clarifications and guidance.
- Act as subject matter expert for system administration, integration, and configuration of departmental systems.
- Conduct impact analysis of proposed system changes, coordinating with IT for prioritization and implementation.
- Ensure service disruptions and potential workarounds are addressed promptly, assisting IT with incident recovery and problem resolution.
Skill & Experience
- Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in IT, business improvement, project management, and relationship management.
- Skilled in project coordination and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Familiar with new technologies, Microsoft products, Data Analytics, BI, and industry tools.
- Able to provide guidance and detailed system functionality to users and customers.
- Strong business domain knowledge of applications, industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
