Job Description

The role is responsible for leading and maintaining a strong coffee and beverage culture across all Food & Beverage (F&B) outlets and events. It ensures high standards in preparation, presentation, and service, delivering consistent quality. The role also focuses on improving the guest experience, introducing new ideas, and supporting the company’s reputation for excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of coffee and other beverages across all outlets, meeting the highest quality standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for beverage service to ensure consistency and excellent service delivery.
  • Build team skills through ongoing guidance, monitoring, and practical support to enhance craftsmanship and performance.
  • Manage the setup and maintenance of beverage stations, ensuring smooth operations during daily service and special events.
  • Work with culinary and service teams to integrate coffee offerings creatively into menus and events, enhancing the guest experience.
  • Maintain all coffee equipment and supplies to prevent service interruptions.
  • Introduce new brewing methods and seasonal beverages to drive product innovation.
  • Conduct regular quality checks in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards and the company’s hygiene and quality policies.
  • Collaborate with outlet and event managers to ensure beverage service aligns with operational goals and exceeds guest expectations.

Skill & Experience

  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • Barista certification from a recognized institution, such as the Specialty Coffee Association or Barista Guild (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of professional barista experience in hospitality or catering, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or training role within beverage operations.
  • Proven experience in high-volume service environments, including large-scale events and multi-outlet operations.
  • Strong expertise in coffee brewing techniques, latte art, and professional equipment handling.
  • Excellent training, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to consistent quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet changing operational demands and event requirements.
