Job Description
The Associate Manager – Graphic Design leads the creation and execution of visual content across digital and print platforms. Responsible for designing marketing materials, brand assets, and campaigns, they ensure consistency with brand guidelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver creative solutions that effectively communicate the brand’s message while maintaining high-quality design standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing creative guidelines across all media channels to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Develop creative guidelines for new media placements, considering the communication objectives and brand standards.
- Interpret briefs and provide design recommendations that align with Carrefour’s guidelines.
- Create concepts, visuals, and copy for various media including onsite/offsite banners, emails, social media, and video ads (including GIFs).
- Write scripts for webinars, training materials, and in-store radio ads, providing feedback and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Ad Ops managers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to deliver effective creative content.
- Support the creation of case studies, pitch decks, and PR/marketing materials for Prevision Media.
- Ensure all deliverables meet specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Take initiative to move tasks forward while adhering to processes and service level agreements.
- Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
- Assist with performance management by setting objectives, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to team members.
- Mentor team members to develop a pipeline of talent for key roles.
- Identify training needs and coordinate with Human Capital to facilitate development programs.
- Design and implement on-the-job training for team members.
- Provide inputs for the annual manpower planning process.
Skill & Experience
- Four or more years of experience in Graphic Design or Multimedia Design, preferably in e-commerce; e-commerce experience is a plus.
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design.
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Proficient in using MAC systems.
- Experience in video editing using provided templates.
- Portfolio showcasing detailed design work, including videos.
- Solid understanding of design principles such as typography, layout, composition, color, balance, and proportion.
- Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and quickly learn new skills.
