Job Description
The Senior Manager – Rider Equipment & Inventory leads the planning, procurement, distribution, and control of rider equipment and inventory across markets. The role ensures availability, cost efficiency, quality standards, and compliance while improving inventory processes, managing suppliers, and supporting operational teams to deliver a safe and reliable rider experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop demand plans for rider equipment by forecasting replenishment based on fleet size changes and equipment usage life
- Set up clear SOPs and end-to-end processes for warehouse and inventory operations across all markets
- Oversee inventory activities including receiving, issuing, returns, recycling, and stock accuracy
- Manage warehouse operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational performance
- Drive continuous improvement in rider equipment quality and usability
- Recruit, train, and manage warehouse leads across countries and track their performance
- Implement training and development programs for warehouse and inventory teams
- Identify regional improvement opportunities, prioritize actions, and ensure execution
- Promote sharing of best practices and standardization across markets
Skill & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in inventory and warehouse management, with strong knowledge of process design, system requirements, and operational monitoring
- Experience building or improving inventory and warehouse operations from the ground up is highly preferred
- Proven ability to lead large cross-functional projects, including planning, resourcing, and execution
- Strong interest in technology, e-commerce, last-mile delivery, and operational automation
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and process-driven with strong prioritization skills
- Comfortable working with senior leaders and managing multiple stakeholder expectations
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in changing environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and intercultural abilities, with the capacity to influence and collaborate across teams
