Job Description
Responsible for managing the RTA’s enterprise risk operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, senior management directives, and local/federal policies. This role develops and implements programs to plan, monitor, and enhance corporate risk policies and strategies, supporting the organization in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing periodic risk reports for the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA)
- Design, update, and share ERM awareness materials on the RTA’s internal network
- Follow up on implementation of action items from enterprise risk management activities
- Conduct and deliver ERM training, workshops, seminars, and awareness programs across agencies and sectors
- Support planning, scheduling, and execution of enterprise risk audits and inspections
- Implement directives from the Corporate Risk Manager and Administration Manager, providing assistance in all related tasks
- Promote a culture of corporate risk management through internal and external engagement initiatives
- Conduct assessments, reviews, and audits to identify risk exposure and areas for improvement
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with relevant stakeholders to support enterprise risk management initiatives
- Develop technical expertise on corporate risks and conduct research on external risks affecting the RTA
- Maintain and improve the enterprise risk management framework, policies, and processes
- Manage and support users of enterprise risk management software, ensuring effective adoption and usage
- Ensure risk policies, frameworks, and guidelines are communicated, understood, and implemented across all departments and agencies
- Provide guidance and assistance to sectors and agencies in implementing ERM initiatives and programs
Skill & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- 8+ years of practical experience in risk management or related fields
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, auditing, and governance practices
- Experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and policies
- Ability to analyze, identify, and mitigate operational and strategic risks
