Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Procurement will support procurement operations by managing sourcing, vendor relationships, and purchasing activities. The role ensures timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality standards. This position works closely with internal teams to forecast requirements, negotiate contracts, and implement procurement best practices to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source new or alternate items promptly to meet business requirements
  • Negotiate machinery orders and manage contracts for services across all regions and concepts
  • Maintain and update the Price Master in the system
  • Monitor monthly LPOs, closing those no longer required
  • Create or approve LPOs for machinery and service items
  • Track key contract clauses and report on compliance
  • Ensure proper storage and easy retrieval of procurement documents according to company policies
  • Monitor market trends and update leadership on important items
  • Benchmark prices across regions for key items and generate monthly MIS reports for responsible categories
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and ratings for key vendors
  • Track assets and manage asset rotation in line with business needs

Skill & Experience

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations, preferably in the Family Entertainment Center (FEC) industry
  • Professional certification such as CIPS Level 4, APICS, or an equivalent Supply Chain/Procurement qualification
  • Solid understanding of procurement practices, compliance, and regulations in GCC markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
