Job Description

A Senior Product Owner is responsible for defining product vision, managing the backlog, and working closely with business, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-value features. The role ensures customer needs and business goals are clearly translated into well-prioritized requirements, while tracking delivery progress and product performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define clear product goals, roadmaps, and success measures for data-driven features
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver practical solutions
  • Guide products from early ideas through launch and growth stages
  • Turn technical concepts into easy-to-use product experiences
  • Set consistent product development and lifecycle standards across teams
  • Support wider adoption and scaling of intelligent product capabilities within the organization
  • Keep up with new technologies to improve product value and performance

Skill & Experience

  • 8–10 years of overall professional experience in technology and product roles
  • Strong early career background as an engineer or technical contributor
  • At least 6 years of experience in product roles focused on machine learning–based solutions
  • Proven experience launching and scaling products built on advanced data models
  • Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, data pipelines, and production deployment
  • Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields
  • Experience building platforms or tools used by multiple teams is highly valued
  • Awareness of responsible AI practices, model transparency, and ethical considerations
  • Exposure to fast-growing startups or high-growth technology environments is a plus
  • Experience in retail domains such as fashion, lifestyle, home, or eCommerce is an added advantage
  • Strong cross-team leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Comfortable working in fast-changing, unclear environments and bringing structure and direction
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms to non-technical audiences
