Job Description
The role involves assisting in pre-sales activities within the HORECA sector, reporting to the Sales Executive. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, and organizing goods for delivery, ensuring accurate handling of products. The position supports efficient logistics operations, helps the sales team, and ensures GMG’s products are prepared for timely distribution to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading goods, preparing them for delivery to HORECA clients.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage and organize items systematically for smooth delivery.
- Collaborate with drivers and sales staff to ensure correct quantities are loaded according to order specifications.
- Check inventory before and after loading to verify accuracy.
- Support warehouse stock management by notifying supervisors of low inventory and restocking as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in loading areas; ensure equipment like pallets and carts are in proper working order.
- Assist drivers in verifying product counts and ensuring accurate deliveries to clients.
- Report any issues encountered during loading, unloading, or delivery to the Sales Executive for follow-up.
Skill & Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong focus on accuracy to ensure all tasks, such as loading, unloading, and inventory checks, are completed correctly.
- Careful and thorough when handling products to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.
- Basic English communication skills, both spoken and written, to follow instructions and report issues clearly.
- Ability to read labels, follow written instructions, and understand simple documentation related to deliveries and stock management.
- Observant and able to notice discrepancies in product counts, packaging, or order details.
- Reliable and consistent in performing tasks according to standard procedures.
