Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Store Supervisor – Sports to oversee store operations and support the achievement of sales targets. The role involves leading and developing the store sales team while ensuring excellent operational performance, high customer service standards, and effective execution of commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the store in achieving annual sales targets.
- Assist in staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and high customer service levels.
- Conduct regular audits of store operations to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Oversee after-sales processes, ensuring adherence to repair and return policies.
- Address customer needs, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain excellent service standards.
- Ensure visual merchandising meets brand guidelines and standards.
- Verify promotions, pricing, and discounts are accurate and comply with company policies.
- Generate and analyze sales reports to identify opportunities for stock optimization and sales growth.
- Submit daily invoices and sales summaries to the Finance department.
- Manage store operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and record-keeping, in line with company procedures.
- Implement loss prevention measures and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and presentation according to brand standards.
- Lead and guide the sales team to follow SOPs and maintain store presentation and operational standards.
Skill & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 6–8 years of experience in retail operations within the fashion or apparel industry, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong product and category knowledge with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficient in MS Office and related tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain operational standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and consistently achieve targets.
