The Reservations Agent is the primary point of contact for room bookings at the hotel, responsible for providing excellent customer service and guiding guests in their decision to stay. The role involves handling inquiries, offering options and solutions, and ensuring a smooth and positive booking experience that meets guest needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert guest inquiries into confirmed reservations quickly and efficiently
- Respond proactively and positively to sales inquiries to generate future business opportunities
- Identify potential sales leads and opportunities as appropriate
- Handle all customer interactions professionally, ensuring reservations are accurate and meet guest expectations
- Deliver prompt and efficient service while upholding the hotel’s brand standards and service quality
Skill & Experience
- Strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive guest experiences
- Highly professional telephone manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding administrative and organizational abilities to manage reservations efficiently
- Intermediate computer proficiency, including hotel reservation systems and standard office applications
- Previous experience in a hotel Reservations environment
- Tertiary qualifications or a collegiate-level degree in a relevant field
