Job Description
The role is suited for motivated and driven Spa professionals who are looking to develop their careers further. As a Spa Receptionist, the responsibility is to manage all spa reception duties efficiently and on time, ensuring smooth daily operations and providing a professional point of contact for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage spa reservations, payments, and tracking procedures in line with established guidelines
- Welcome guests warmly and maintain a friendly and relaxed atmosphere at all times
- Issue locker keys and towels to guests and ensure their return after use
- Promote spa services, treatments, and facilities to guests in a clear and helpful manner
- Post guest charges accurately in Micros and follow correct accounting procedures
- Regularly check locker rooms to ensure cleanliness, order, and readiness for guests
- Keep the reception area clean, organised, and well presented, ensuring towels, reading materials, and promotional items are always available
- Support spa revenue by having full knowledge of services, products, and pricing, and confidently recommending suitable options to guests
Skill & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Previous work experience in a hotel environment, preferably in spa reception, front office, or guest services
- Good written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a friendly, confident, and service-oriented approach when interacting with guests
- Ability to handle guest enquiries, reservations, and concerns in a calm and professional manner
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail to manage bookings and payments accurately
- Basic computer knowledge, including experience with hotel or spa management systems, is an added advantage
- Ability to work well as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across departments
