Job Description

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure all work meets relevant codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all M&E and HVAC equipment across the hotel complex, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Carry out repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to keep the hotel running safely and efficiently.
  • Install and repair single-phase and three-phase mains/domestic distribution systems, lighting, and in-house electrical appliances.
  • Assist with emergency systems, including fire alarms, lighting, batteries, standby power, and generators.
  • Operate and maintain control systems for M&E equipment, including guest appliances, service lifts, and general electrical devices.
  • Read and follow blueprints or prepare sketches to determine the correct location of wiring and equipment, ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
  • Use a range of tools and testing equipment, including power tools, measuring devices, oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.

Skill & Experience

  • Qualified Electrician with a diploma in Electro-Technical Services and at least a basic high school qualification.
  • Proven knowledge of operating and maintaining electrical equipment.
  • Good command of English and the ability to identify faults and repair systems effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach, flexible, and able to adapt to unexpected situations.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to perform well in a busy environment while staying calm under pressure.
