Carpenter
Job Description
The Carpenter manages and carries out product deliveries and installations on site, working alongside drivers to make sure items are handled, transported, and delivered according to Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle’s quality standards. The role involves physical delivery and assembly work as well as dealing directly with customers, ensuring each order is completed correctly, safely, and with a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for customers during deliveries, communicating in a polite and professional manner.
- Assist with loading, transporting, delivering, and assembling furniture items as required.
- Check products before delivery and after installation to make sure they are in good condition and meet customer expectations.
- Identify and report any damages, defects, or installation problems, helping to record issues when needed.
- Follow all company rules, health and safety guidelines, and delivery procedures at all times.
- Make sure each delivery reflects the brand’s quality standards, including careful handling and proper setup in the customer’s home.
- Provide a positive customer experience throughout the delivery process by answering questions, resolving concerns, and maintaining a professional image.
Skill & Experience
- High school certificate or equivalent qualification.
- One to two years of experience in delivery or installation roles, ideally within luxury furniture or home décor.
- Proven experience in delivery operations.
- Practical carpentry experience is essential.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
- Good communication skills with a clear focus on customer service.
