B2B Interior Designer

Job Description

The Interior Designer is responsible for providing design services to clients, assisting them in selecting materials, furnishings, and finishes, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations. The role manages all design aspects from project inception through to owner occupancy, maintaining quality, functionality, and aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and determine the client’s goals, requirements, and vision for each project.
• Prepare final design plans using computer-aided design (CAD) and other relevant applications.
• Specify materials and furnishings, including lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures.
• Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of design elements to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Set project costs and fees in line with the client’s budget and project scope.
• Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing clients while actively marketing to acquire new clients.
• Share product knowledge with clients to support informed decision-making and encourage sales.
• Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales goals while contributing to the growth of the business.

Skill & Experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or other design software
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of materials, furnishings, and interior design trends
• Ability to manage projects from concept to completion within budget and timelines
• Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in interior design or similar roles
• Experience in client handling, project planning, and design implementation
