Job Description

As a Human Resources Coordinator, support the HR department in providing efficient and effective HR services to the hotel team. Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment, employee relations, training coordination, HR administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE labor laws, helping to maintain a positive and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate pre-employment documentation and complete onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Prepare and maintain employee files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IHG standards.
  • Update and manage HRIS systems, including attendance, leave records, and employee information.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports, memos, and correspondence as needed.
  • Handle employee documentation such as contracts, letters, and ID cards.
  • Support staff engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and social events.
  • Act as a point of contact for general employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist with employee welfare programs and initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
  • Ensure all HR activities comply with UAE labor laws and IHG policies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of employee records and HR information.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
