Job Description
The Enterprise Technical Architect provides leadership for the overall architecture of Azadea’s digital commerce and omnichannel systems across all brands and countries. They are responsible for defining and maintaining the architectural vision, governance, and technology standards for systems including e-commerce, OMS, ERP, CRM, POS, CMS, Loyalty, PIM, AI, data platforms, and integration layers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and govern the enterprise architecture strategy for the Group’s omnichannel retail and digital commerce platforms across all countries.
- Design and select business-critical storage, data center, and client/server environments, providing a third-line escalation point for global infrastructure solutions.
- Translate business and commercial priorities into enterprise-level architecture roadmaps, ensuring technology investments support growth and operational goals.
- Direct the design and evolution of end-to-end architecture across ecommerce, OMS, ERP, CRM, POS, CMS, Loyalty, PIM, and AI systems.
- Provide technical guidance on microservices, domain-driven design, event-driven architectures, cloud-native solutions, and modern engineering practices.
- Guide engineering, product, and data teams to align with architectural standards, performance targets, and security requirements.
- Lead architecture for major transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery meets enterprise KPIs, budgets, timelines, and service-level agreements.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices across development teams to improve efficiency, observability, and risk management.
- Define and oversee AI and data architecture strategy, integrating tools such as LLMs, personalization engines, dynamic pricing, and intelligent search.
- Manage data models and integration architectures that support key systems including ecommerce, ERP, CRM, payments, and logistics.
- Oversee enterprise data pipelines, streaming architectures, and analytics platforms, ensuring compliance with GDPR, ISO 42001, and security standards.
- Architect and govern API-first and event-driven integration strategies using tools like Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, or Kafka.
- Set the direction for cloud architecture (preferably Azure), ensuring cost efficiency, resilience, disaster recovery, and enterprise-level security.
- Define and enforce security, performance, and availability standards, ensuring compliance with frameworks like OAuth2.0, SSO, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate the team, ensuring staff have the right skills, motivation, and support to deliver their best work.
Skill & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 8–10 years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture, particularly in large-scale digital commerce or omnichannel transformation projects, or a similar role.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experienced with modern architecture patterns, including microservices, domain-driven design (DDD), and event-driven architecture (EDA).
