Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical care in maternal–fetal medicine and high-risk obstetrics.
- Perform advanced fetal assessments, including:
- Early anomaly scans
- Nuchal translucency (NT) scans
- Fetal growth assessments
- Doppler velocimetry
- Targeted anomaly scans
- Manage complex pregnancies in coordination with neonatology, radiology, and other specialties.
- Counsel patients and families on fetal conditions, prenatal diagnosis, and treatment options.
- Develop individualized care plans for high-risk maternal and fetal cases.
- Participate in emergency obstetric care as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in line with DOH standards.
- Contribute to departmental audits, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based protocols.
- Support the growth and development of fetal medicine services within the department.
Skill & Experience
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN) with one of the following: MD, MS, DNB, MRCOG, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Fellowship in Fetal Medicine / High-Risk Obstetrics
- Maternal–Fetal Medicine Fellowship
- National Board Fellowship (FNB) in Fetal Medicine
- FMF-accredited or equivalent fetal medicine program
- Valid DOH Specialist OBGYN license or DOH Eligibility Letter.
- Minimum 2–3 years of post-specialization experience, preferably in fetal medicine or high-risk obstetrics.
- Strong skills in fetal ultrasound, anomaly screening, and managing complex pregnancies.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
