Job Description

An Asset Management Specialist oversees the lifecycle of organizational assets, ensuring optimal utilization, maintenance, and compliance. They track asset performance, conduct audits, manage inventories, and support financial reporting. The role requires strategic planning to maximize value, minimize risks, and align asset management practices with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the rolling stock asset register.
  • Develop and manage maintenance plans and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Conduct condition monitoring and predictive performance analysis.
  • Perform root cause analysis and update SAP fault codes.
  • Support internal/external audits and compliance with standards.
  • Compile monthly and annual asset performance reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and IoT/innovative asset solutions.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management, maintenance, or railway operations.
  • Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management and preventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other asset management software.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and compliance standards in rail operations.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.
