Job Description
The Senior HR Business Partner / Head of HR serves as a strategic advisor to senior management, focusing on human capital management. The role develops HR strategies that support business growth and promote a culture of performance, meritocracy, and diversity. Responsibilities include workforce optimization, managing manpower budgets, implementing HR policies, driving employee engagement, and overseeing change management while ensuring compliance with Group HR policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies and the annual HR plan.
- Communicate HR plans and progress to HR teams and business units.
- Support continuous improvement in HR practices across the organization.
- Ensure new employees are properly onboarded and productive quickly.
- Develop succession and retention plans for key roles and talent.
- Implement performance management processes to support development or address underperformance.
- Plan and deliver training initiatives aligned with business needs, including high-potential staff programs.
- Work with the Group Training Department to ensure effective learning solutions.
- Advise line managers on employee relations issues and help maintain company values.
- Support employee engagement, meritocracy, diversity, and legal compliance.
- Communicate HR policy updates and assist managers with implementation.
- Act as a coach and advisor to senior leaders on people-related matters and change management.
- Measure employee engagement and recommend improvements.
- Guide workforce planning, lean staffing, and reorganization initiatives.
- Monitor employee productivity and suggest efficiency improvements.
- Manage HR budgets and manpower costs, including overtime and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and organizational requirements.
- Educate employees on policies, address breaches promptly, and support Emiritization and diversity goals.
Skill & Experience
- Proven experience in change management and organizational development.
- Strong mentorship and coaching skills for senior management.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Psychology, Business Management, or related field.
- CIPD qualification is desirable.
- Experience as an HR Generalist and HR Business Partner.
- Expertise in change management, organizational development, performance management, recruitment, and employee relations.
- Proficient in analysis, financial modeling, and effective communication.
- Demonstrates achievement orientation, strategic thinking, and solution-focused behavior.
