Job Description

Reporting to the Cabin Crew Manager (CCM), the Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring safe and professional flights in accordance with DC Aviation Al-Futtaim procedures and UAE General Civil Aviation Authority regulations. The primary focus is flight safety, while also delivering excellent customer service to ensure a high level of passenger satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with GCAA and DC Aviation Al-Futtaim requirements when reporting for duty, including carrying correct documentation and being fit for all Cabin Crew duties.
  • Participate in pre-flight safety briefings with Cockpit Crew and Purser.
  • Maintain and adhere to DC Aviation Al-Futtaim grooming standards.
  • Conduct pre-flight checks of onboard Safety & Emergency equipment, reporting any defects to the Commander.
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight security checks in assigned areas, reporting any findings to the Commander.
  • Inspect cabin management and in-flight entertainment systems before flight, reporting defects as needed.
  • Manage in-flight catering safely, including sourcing, ordering, checking, and storage.
  • Ensure all service equipment, cabin amenities, and documentation are ready and in good working order before departure.
  • Welcome and assist guests during boarding, providing required safety briefings confidently.
  • Notify Cockpit Crew promptly when the cabin is secure.
  • Deliver excellent in-flight customer service, assisting guests requiring special attention.
  • Keep cabin, galley, washrooms, and crew rest areas clean, tidy, and secure during taxi, take-off, turbulence, and landing.
  • Assist guests during disembarkation and ensure arrival documentation is completed.
  • Communicate cabin or equipment issues to the Commander for inclusion in the TLB.
  • Complete Voyage Reports after each flight and submit to the CCM.
  • Clean, restock, and de-cater the aircraft after each flight.
  • Attend monthly Aircraft Review Days and assist at the FBO facility when required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management within the scope of responsibility.

Skill & Experience

  • Successful completion of GCAA-approved aircraft-specific Safety & Emergency training.
  • Completion of all relevant internal DC Aviation Al-Futtaim training courses.
  • Strong knowledge of GCAA regulations and procedures relevant to the role.
  • Extensive experience in VVIP aviation or First Class service.
