LMS Officer

Job Description

The Learning Management Systems Officer will manage and administer the LMS, develop and deliver eLearning courses, and track pilot training compliance by monitoring course completion and progress. The role ensures that all training programs are up to date, properly recorded, and aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the LMS platform to ensure smooth performance, security, and ease of use.
• Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, and enrolments across training programs.
• Upload, configure, test, and maintain learning content, including SCORM, xAPI, and video files.
• Provide tier-1 technical support, troubleshooting system and content issues for end-users.
• Generate reports on course completions, engagement, and learning metrics to support Flight Training Management and regulatory compliance.
• Design and develop interactive digital learning modules, simulations, and assessments.
• Use tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate to create engaging, custom e-learning courses.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to convert content into polished, web-ready learning assets.
• Ensure all learning content meets SCORM and industry compliance standards.

Skill & Experience

• College or University degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in administering and maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Experience testing and integrating new learning technologies, system upgrades, and video editing; experience in aviation or airline training is a plus.
• Expert proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, particularly Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
• Experienced in using Adobe Creative Cloud software.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical staff.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
