Job Description

Oversees daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company standards. Manages teams, monitors performance, streamlines processes, and coordinates resources to meet operational goals. Implements strategies to optimize workflows, resolve issues, and maintain high-quality service delivery while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations and upkeep of Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs), ensuring all maintenance activities are performed on schedule and defects are accurately reported.
  • Manage FSTD qualification processes, including conducting quarterly subjective tests, QTG validation runs, and ensuring all results meet regulatory standards.
  • Implement and monitor FSTD modifications, completing thorough Management of Change (MoC) assessments and Risk Assessments to maintain compliance and safety.
  • Support audits and inspections from regulatory authorities such as GCAA and EASA, ensuring all operational and documentation requirements are met.
  • Maintain comprehensive records for all FSTD activities, including logs, qualification reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
  • Supervise contracted maintenance teams, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements, regulatory requirements, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Identify operational issues or potential risks in FSTD performance and coordinate corrective actions to ensure continuous reliability and safety.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering, preferably in aviation or similar operations
  • Qualified to be a GCAA-nominated postholder according to ORA.GEN.210(b) regulations
