Job Description
Deliver clear and comprehensive instruction on aviation subjects, ensuring students understand the material required for licensing exams and safe flight operations. Equip students with essential theoretical knowledge to support competent and safe performance in all aspects of aviation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging theoretical lectures following approved curricula and Academy manuals.
- Maintain and update training materials, lesson plans, and keep accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Support and mentor students, providing feedback and fostering a professional and positive learning environment.
- Ensure effective use of training resources, contribute to curriculum updates, and uphold exam confidentiality and professional standards.
- Promote safety, complete required documentation, and perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Skill & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Aviation, Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant pilot license (PPL, CPL, ATPL) or aircraft maintenance license is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an instructor delivering theoretical aviation training.
- Practical experience in aviation, such as pilot, flight instructor, ATC, or aviation engineer.
- Experienced in instructing ATPL theory at a GCAA-approved training organization is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE GCAA safety policies and aviation industry standards.
- Skilled in adapting teaching methods for different learning styles and managing classrooms effectively.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Completed training in instructional techniques; Train-the-Trainer certification is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with maintaining student records and lesson plans.
