Job Description

Operate assigned flights in line with Air Arabia’s operational manuals and aviation regulations. Take full responsibility for flight safety, security, and efficiency, lead and support crew members, manage unexpected situations and emergencies, and ensure each flight is completed safely while representing the airline professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate scheduled flights using approved flight plans, taking full responsibility for the aircraft from departure to arrival.
  • Always place safety first, followed by operational efficiency and passenger comfort.
  • Fly in line with Air Arabia manuals and all aviation authority rules, ensuring smooth and compliant operations.
  • Lead pre-flight briefings so crew members are clear on flight details, roles, weather, fuel, and aircraft status.
  • Coordinate closely with dispatch, co-pilots, and cabin crew to ensure readiness before each flight.
  • Manage fuel use carefully while staying within safety limits and approved procedures.
  • Confirm aircraft serviceability with maintenance teams and address any technical concerns before departure.
  • Ensure all checks are completed before, during, and after flights, guiding the crew during any safety or security issues.
  • Maintain accurate flight documents, logs, and reports as per regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with aviation regulations and complete assigned ground duties when required.

Skill & Experience

  • Hold a valid CPL; ATPL is preferred.
  • Meet Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA standards, including technical, psychometric, and medical assessments.
  • Valid Instrument Rating and current medical certificate required.
  • Prior commercial airline flying experience preferred; low-cost carrier experience is a strong plus.
  • Sound knowledge of aircraft systems, operating procedures, and flight operations.
  • Training in safety and emergency response required; formal certification is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with airport operations, security rules, CRM, and IATA security standards is beneficial.
  • Comfortable using aircraft systems, Microsoft Office, and online tools.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, including report writing.
  • Exposure to safety, security, QA, or audit practices is an advantage.
  • Able to apply company policies, manuals, and regulatory requirements consistently.
