Front-End Lead

Job Description

Lead the development of user-facing web and mobile interfaces, ensuring high performance, usability, and responsiveness. Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to build scalable front-end solutions. Guide and mentor front-end engineers, maintain code quality, and drive best practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain smooth, lightweight web and mobile applications for a new B2B marketplace.
• Take full ownership of features from development through release and iteration.
• Work in a frontend team responsible for both web and mobile experiences, contributing across platforms.
• Develop, manage, and release mobile app builds, including version control and release cycles.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features tailored to B2B customers.
• Ensure consistent performance and usability across web and mobile platforms.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions as the product and squads are established from scratch.

Skill & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
• Proven experience building modern web and/or mobile applications focused on performance and usability.
• Hands-on experience with mobile app builds, versioning, and release processes.
• Comfortable working across web and app codebases, or eager to grow skills in both.
• Able to understand and adapt to B2B customer journeys, different from B2C e-commerce.
• Experience in fast-paced environments, ideally in e-commerce, marketplaces, or platform products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build products from concept to launch.
• Takes ownership and actively contributes to technical and product decisions in early-stage setups.
