Job Description
Oversee and guide the nursing team to provide patient-focused, evidence-based care, ensure smooth operations, and support positive experiences for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and leadership to the nursing team to support effective care delivery.
- Promote a positive patient experience by developing staff and encouraging teamwork.
- Ensure patient care follows evidence-based practices and established clinical standards.
- Manage clinical and non-clinical resources efficiently to maintain safe and cost-effective care.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, legislative, and clinical requirements to support ongoing quality improvement.
Skill & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital or clinic.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a senior nursing role.
- Skilled in all five stages of the Scientific Nursing Process: assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation.
- Knowledgeable in the nursing scope of practice as defined by regulatory frameworks.
- Competent in performing nursing procedures and using key clinical equipment.
- Strong understanding of patient care and nursing management principles.
- Familiar with relevant laws, regulations, and directives, and their application in managing a nursing team or unit.
- Ability to manage resources and control expenses efficiently.
- Knowledge of external standards and ensuring compliance with them.
- Experienced in risk management practices and systems.
- Proficient in stock control and inventory management.
- Computer literate with skills in MS Office applications.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
