Assistant Operations Manager

Job Description

This role manages the daily operations and ensures regulatory compliance of the entire company fleet, including multipurpose vehicles, owned and leased passenger buses, and third-party vehicles. It is also responsible for overseeing branding initiatives across the fleet to maintain consistent quality and high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed records of fleet inventory, usage, and costs, flagging any irregularities.
  • Respond promptly to fleet-related incidents and assist with investigations and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with business units and operations teams to meet fleet requirements efficiently.
  • Oversee TG-owned fleet maintenance schedules and enforce standard operating procedures for buses and vehicles.
  • Manage vehicle registrations, maintenance, and disposal in line with company policies.
  • Monitor fleet performance, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with regulatory requirements, including licensing, inspections, and insurance.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
  • Track driver performance using GPS data and analyze reports for operational improvements.
  • Manage GPS and Power BI reporting systems to support vehicle and driver management.

Skill & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in fleet management or operations support
  • Good knowledge of vehicle compliance and fleet management software
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
