As Commercial Manager in dnata Cargo, you will manage customer relationships, sales pipelines, and contracts while supporting tenders, account management, and market research to drive revenue growth and maximize commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute commercial, sales, and marketing initiatives, including analyzing customer profitability.
- Conduct regular review meetings with key accounts to discuss performance and address operational concerns.
- Handle contract negotiations and approvals, ensuring alignment with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
- Prepare financial models and business cases, track costs, and identify potential revenue opportunities.
- Monitor contract outcomes, margins, and budgets, while exploring cross-selling and upselling possibilities.
- Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and services.
- Oversee payment processes and resolve financial issues in coordination with Credit Management.
- Collect and analyse customer feedback, implementing improvements to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
- Research market trends, assess competitors, and support development of tailored customer solutions.
- Maintain CRM data, assist with audits, prepare reports, and represent the Commercial team externally
Skill & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience in airport operations or a related area.
- Experience in ground handling, airport operations, travel management, engineering, or revenue-focused roles.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional relationships.
- Experience in sales or account management, including contract negotiations in large organizations.
- Strong financial management and strategic business skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Technical knowledge related to ground handling or line maintenance operations.
