Job Description
SkyCargo, a global leader in air cargo, serves over 140 destinations across 6 continents and reaches two-thirds of the world’s population within 8 hours. With a modern, wide-bodied fleet and a multi-airport hub in Dubai, SkyCargo efficiently connects customers and adapts to changing needs. The Quality Assurance Controller will develop and maintain a service excellence framework, supporting the department’s Quality Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Auditing: Plan and conduct internal and external audits, submit reports on non-conformities, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions. Provide guidance to departments on audit compliance.
- Quality Management System: Maintain and manage the department’s QMS, including document and record management per certification requirements.
- Business Excellence: Develop and implement a service excellence framework, analyze business performance trends, and ensure compliance with quality and industry standards.
- Business Continuity & Accident Planning: Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP), test department readiness for operational risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Risk Assessment: Manage the risk management system, assess departmental and operational risks, and guide teams on corrective actions to reduce risk.
- Customer Relationship Management: Coordinate second-party audits with business units and external providers, ensure timely corrective actions, and support customer feedback systems.
- Continual Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities from audits, benchmarking, and customer feedback, and support implementation of initiatives within set timelines.
Skill & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Engineering or Quality Assurance.
- Degree or equivalent (12+3 or Honours).
- Experience in aviation services or large service organizations.
- Knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) practices.
- Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems and related tools.
- Preferred certification as a Quality Lead Auditor.
- Strong team management, coaching, and training skills.
- Skilled in setting, monitoring, and evaluating operational and individual objectives.
