Job Description
Responsible for assisting in the safe operation of the aircraft as Second in Command, carrying out the Captain’s or Commander’s instructions and managing both routine and emergency situations as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists the Captain in ensuring flights are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Represents the airline professionally, maintaining high standards of conduct, discipline, and appearance while on duty.
- Takes responsibility for the well-being and safety of both crew and passengers.
- Supports the Captain in aircraft fueling, baggage and cargo loading, and other necessary servicing.
- Follows all duties and procedures as outlined in the flydubai Operations Manuals.
Skill & Experience
- High School Diploma.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Minimum flying hours: 225 hours (ages 20–34) or 1,000 hours (ages 35–50).
- GCAA Air Law exam (for foreign license holders).
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 or above.
- Proof of completed military service or exemption (preferred).
- 1st Class Medical Certificate from ICAO.
- CPL/IR with MCC for Frozen ATPL holders.
